Real juggling is nothing like juggling tasks, why do we use that metaphor?

I never feel buried and anxious while juggling
I never have to switch mind sets while juggling
I never have an complete emotional break down because of juggling
I never realize I’ve forgotten all about one of the balls while juggling
I never feel crippled by the guilt of all the balls I’m not juggling, while juggling
I never ask myself if I’ve picked up all the right balls while juggling
